2) Using the Right Tools. To get the best application you need to get a bronzer brush. For an all over glow get a full bristled, round brush to get an even look and more coverage with each swipe. To get the movie star look invest in a contour brush to contour the face, to accentuate cheek bones and the jaw line.
3) All about Application. Now that you have the right shade and the right tools, you’re ready to apply your new summer bronzer. Start at the top of the forehead and sweep the brush down the side of the face. Curve in just below the cheek bone to accentuate your facial structure, then continue down along the side of the face and down the jaw line. Do this technique on both sides of the face for an even, symmetrical look.
4) Be sure to Blend. Don’t leave any harsh color lines or drastic shade differences on your face. Blend makeup into the face with your bronzer brush for a smooth transition into lighter areas of your skin. Most importantly, there is nothing worse than a color difference between the face and neck so don’t forget to blend the bronzer down your neck (if you’re wearing your hair up be sure to blend to the back of your neck as well). Top off your look by blending a shimmery shade bronzer into your cheek bones and along your nose for a glowing highlighted effect.
