The differences can be obvious when you compare people with dark and light skin tones.  People with dark skin don't tend to have as many lines, and their skin tends to wrinkle less.  This is because the melanin in their skin provides inherent sunscreen.  Most lines and wrinkles on our faces are due to sun.

The things we call expression lines are almost entirely caused by the sun.  The passage of time changes the fat distribution of the skin, the roundedness of the cheeks, and the muscle tone, but the vast majority of skin aging is due to UV exposure.

Understandably, the most important factor in daily skincare regimen should be the application of sunscreen.  Institut' DERMed offers various products with SPF factors, such as Brightening Moisturizer SPF 28.  This oil-free hydrator provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection to prevent discoloration and premature aging of the skin.
