Institut’ DERMed College of Advanced Aesthetics was founded in 1995 by medical aesthetics pioneer, Lyn Ross, L.M.E. When Lyn opened the first Clinical Skin Care Center in the Southeast in 1989, to support cosmetic surgery patients with camouflage makeup and surgical skin care recovery programs, medical aesthetics training was non-existant. Fortunately, several prominent Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons worked in a collaborative effort with Lyn to develop the advanced curriculum taught today at the Institut’. Dedicated to the study of medical aesthetics and career advancement for skin care professionals, Lyn’s vision to share her specialized protocols and 26 years of in-clinic experience has helped hundreds of estheticians, cosmetologists, nurses and physicians, confidently perform advanced skin care treatments ensuring positive results for clients and patients.
