Institut’ DERMed Mediclinical Spa is now offering DermaFrac™, a new treatment for micro-needling.
Micro-Needling is a skin rejuvenation method that uses a roller with microscopic stainless steel needles in order to correct various skin conditions such as acne scarring, aging skin, fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation by stimulating the collagen production in the dermis.
Lyn Ross, founder of Institut’ DERMed Clinical Skincare™, believes this is a result-producing treatment for all skin types, including ethnic and sensitive skin.
“Ethnic skin and darker skin tones are limited in treatments, such as laser rejuvenation, due to the potential hyper or hypopigmentation effects. Dermal needling will provide similar results without exclusion,“ Ross said.
By using the micro-needle roller in conjunction with anti-aging serums, clients’ skin will be wounded in the dermis allowing the skin to begin regenerating with its own collagen production. However, discomfort during this treatment is minimal with no bleeding or risk of pigment changes in the skin.
